What’s up world!

I’m super excited to announce that my docu-series, Round My Block is back, baby!

On this installment, I had the opportunity to sit down with Bedford-Stuyvesant’s very own, Kharyi Ayers, best known around the block as Cake Boi. After not making his high school basketball team, Cake Boi put the basketball down and picked up a spatula, finding his talents in the kitchen.FullSizeRender (13).jpgSince opening shop in February, Cake Boi has been responsible for delivering smiles to satisfied customers, one slice of cake at a time. In our interview, we discuss who influenced him as a baker, his views on pop-up corner stores, and why he decided to but the Notorious B.I.G on a cookie.

when i first set out to create my blog, i just wanted an outlet to balance my mundane college schedule. but over the years, it has become so much more. writing is how i process my world & the events that take place within it. through aleyarion.com, i seek to help my fellow 20-somethings, like me, working to find light when their paths seem darkened and learn from my mistakes so i can save you the trouble of repeating them. aleyarion.com is witty, vulnerable, and transparent, but most importantly, it's me, unapologetically. peace, peace, peace Aley Arion business inquiries: aleyarion@gmail.com
