Something about gold that makes me feel legendary. Iconic.

I don’t own tons of items in this shade, but I want to. And it gives me all the more reason to cherish this top in particular.

A few months back I copped the featured gold blouse during a spontaneous trip to Goodwill and thought to myself, “Wow, that blouse needs me.”

I first took the top out for a spin during the warmer months and if you know a thing or two about silk’s inability to breath, you can assume that I too experienced an inability to breath. Despite my glamorous discomfort, the outfit came to be one of my most beloved assembles. Check it out here.

IMG_2743.JPGFor this look, I paired it with my moto jacket and black ripped jeans to give it a bit of edge. Not that it needs much help in the first place.

I’m not normally a person that goes for silver accessories and most fashion scholars would turn their nose up to the idea of mixing gold with silver, but why not bend a few rules every now and again?

Besides, these archaic fashion rules are meant to be broke or at the very least, amended.

This looks is a bit grunge, a bit edgy, and a lot of black, but it’s something about this gold top that shines through the darkness and radiates fierceness.
