Sup Royalty,

In honor of #TBT, I wanted to share some pictures from a shoot that I styled and served as a co-creative director for. This was one of the last projects I had the chance to be apart of before I graduated and I really loved the outcome.

You may remember my lovely model from a previous shoot I did (here). Her vibe fit so well with the look we were going for, so it was only right that she served as the face for the shoot. I collaborated with one of my fellow fashion visionaries, Kendall Myers, who provided his hand-picked vintage clothing for the shoot. When he reached out to me to help style his clothing for a lookbook, there was no way I could say no!

Collaborations are so important y’all. You can’t do everything yourself; sometimes you have to reach out to others. When you bring together the creative minds of your peers, there’s no limit to the masterpiece you can come up with.

There was really no clear direction for this shoot and that’s what I loved about it. We had the outfits and a location, and everything else fell into place. The photographer for this shoot was none other than the amazingly talented, Thomas Harris, who shot my graduation photos. His photography skills brought everything together.

Below are the photos, let me know what you think. I love styling, I can’t wait to find more opportunities to display my talents on a larger scale.

when i first set out to create my blog, i just wanted an outlet to balance my mundane college schedule. but over the years, it has become so much more. writing is how i process my world & the events that take place within it. through, i seek to help my fellow 20-somethings, like me, working to find light when their paths seem darkened and learn from my mistakes so i can save you the trouble of repeating them. is witty, vulnerable, and transparent, but most importantly, it's me, unapologetically. peace, peace, peace Aley Arion business inquiries:
