Sup Royalty,

I hope all is well! I’ve been great, thank you 🙂 Guess, what?! I finally finished my thesis! Yeah, I haven’t posted since my birthday since I was slaving away at the project’s finishing touches, but as of yesterday, it’s turned in and out of my hair! (for at least a little while lol) Anyway, I’m back with another OOTD post. As you all may know already, I’ve been in a style transition where I’m focusing on more basic, minimal, and versatile pieces with neutral colors, and today’s outfit was a perfect example of it!

For this look, I proudly strutted a thin line between girly and tomboy. I based my outfit around this black midi dress that I knotted at the bottom and to add a bit of edge, I paired it with this army green bomber vest that I picked up from the Goodwill (don’t sleep). Then, to complete the look, I continued with the tomboy feel and added my new pair of Saucony’s (which I’m in love with) and finished off with stacked gold chokers and rings. This look was so fun to put together and I figured this would probably be my last chance to wear the vest since the weather is going 0-100 real quick… literally! Check out the full look below and tell me what you think. How are you transitioning from winter to spring? Any last minute pieces you want to wear before the heat comes? Leave a comment letting me know!

when i first set out to create my blog, i just wanted an outlet to balance my mundane college schedule. but over the years, it has become so much more. writing is how i process my world & the events that take place within it. through aleyarion.com, i seek to help my fellow 20-somethings, like me, working to find light when their paths seem darkened and learn from my mistakes so i can save you the trouble of repeating them. aleyarion.com is witty, vulnerable, and transparent, but most importantly, it's me, unapologetically. peace, peace, peace Aley Arion business inquiries: aleyarion@gmail.com
