Well the weather outside is no longer frightful, and it has me feeling delightful! Spring has finally arrived and I just want to bathe in the sun with a iced pink lemonade! When the weather gets as nice as it has been, it’s time to shed the layers of the winter months and let your personal style blossom! My outfit yesterday was based around a dress that I received from a girl in my dorm who was giving away her clothes for free! I think the dress was her mom’s, but I fell in love with the rose print and wanted to challenge myself to style it to my liking. As a self-proclaimed “professional thrifter,” I have no shame in wearing others’ gently used clothing. So I thought… hmmm, moccasins would be nice with this, along with cream socks, and a mix of gold and silver jewelry to keep it fun. I felt like a slight hippie, but it was cool to see people’s reaction when I told them the origin of the dress lol. What are your thoughts on my outfit of the day? How do you plan to step out this spring?

when i first set out to create my blog, i just wanted an outlet to balance my mundane college schedule. but over the years, it has become so much more. writing is how i process my world & the events that take place within it. through aleyarion.com, i seek to help my fellow 20-somethings, like me, working to find light when their paths seem darkened and learn from my mistakes so i can save you the trouble of repeating them. aleyarion.com is witty, vulnerable, and transparent, but most importantly, it's me, unapologetically. peace, peace, peace Aley Arion business inquiries: aleyarion@gmail.com
